WITTER CHENG Freakstyle Ghoul 7.25" x 28"
WITTER CHENG Freakstyle Ghoul 7.25" x 28"
Witter rode for Capital Skateboards in 2003. His model was developed and produced but officially never made it on the market due to the company going under. This created a dent in the freestyle supply, hence Decomposed was created. This is the original template used on his earlier models dating back to 2004. The outline was loosely based off the Powell Peralta Kevin Harris Mountie outline but updated. Witter was inspired by the shortness of the kicktail on the Titus Gunter/Rasta model and recreated this with even amounts on the nose and tail.
Short kicktail and nose to help with pogos. This version features a nicely rounded curve nose for controlled railflips. Not too tapered and not too blunt. The back half of the board is designed for stability during railwhips with a curve that starts appropriately for that smooth rotation. Also feature a steep concave to provide you with more foot room to minimize readjustments during rail/primo variations as well as wiggle room for coconut wheelie variations. Steep concave was also used to lock in precise footwork guiding that ‘feet to board’ pressure.
